Today is my first day of work and i really had fun! I have met new friends and my co-teachers were really approachable and kind. During lunch, we went to the bank to open an account for our salary. I wasn’t able to open an account though, because I didn’t have my valid ID’s with me. Lesson learned, to always have a photocopy of any valid ID’s and important documents in hand. I’ll be going back tomorrow to be able to accomplish this with my other co-teachers who wasn’t able to apply as well.

By the way, my friend Alex, is also one of my co-teachers! And we also have a high school batch mate with us as one of our colleagues. So we’re glad that we know each other and we’ll not be left out as we are just starting to get to know our other colleagues.

All we did today was to cut-out instructional materials, classroom decorations and remove all classroom and bulletin board decorations to make way for new ones for the coming school year. I hope to get my class list by tomorrow so I’ll be able to see my students and to know who my partner is! :)
